 Cynthia P. McNamee - Partner Email Link Cynthia concentrates her legal practice in the areas of municipal law, commercial and residential real estate, zoning, commercial transactions, corporate law, and commercial litigation support. Cynthia has extensive background and experience in negotiating and structuring large scale commercial transactions including commercial and residential condominiums, negotiating loan transactions, drafting complex real estate documents, among many other commercial transactions. Cynthia also has broad experience in public sector law. In such capacity, Cynthia has drafted municipal resolutions, ordinances, contracts, and similar documents. In addition to transactional law, Cynthia has considerable litigation experience primarily in the area of municipal law. Cynthia has served as second chair with her husband Michael on many complex pieces of municipal litigation, including but not limited to appropriations, taxpayer suits, constitutional challenges, initiative and referendum petitions and issues, annexations, and administrative appeals. Cynthia has served as primary or secondary counsel in multiple appellate cases throughout the state of Ohio. She has also participated in many adjudicative proceedings, from local boards of zoning appeal to the Supreme Court of Ohio. Cynthia received her undergraduate degree in Marketing in 1988 and her Juris Doctorate in 1991 from the University of Cincinnati. Cynthia was admitted to the Ohio Bar and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 1991 and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 2000. |
